Part of being involved in the community is the opportunity to give back or contribute in way that makes things better for others. Fish Gallery has been a part of the Houston community for approximately 30 years. For approximately 20 years we have been working with the Ronald McDonald House of Houston maintaining tanks in both their Satellite location within Texas Children’s hospital and the house where the families stay while receiving treatment.
If you are not familiar with RMH and the work they are doing. RMH Houston has been helping families with seriously ill children stay close together during very difficult times. By providing a “home away from home” while their child receives the treatment they need, Ronald McDonald House Houston is able to meet families’ most vital need for a place to stay while also providing opportunities to connect with other families facing similar crises. With the groundbreaking at their brand new location, Fish Gallery had a chance to be a big part of the brand new building. A brand new 650 gallon aquarium positioned in the middle of the first floor behind reception and visible from the large gathering area. The tank provides a soothing and calming effect for the families and staff at the house while entertaining the children. Fish Gallery is proud to help RMH in their mission of “keeping families close”.
