Every batch of Aquaforest Reef Salt is ICP-OES tested to ensure the levels are perfect for a mixed reef aquarium. You can even check your batch number online to see a complete elemental analysis for the batch of salt you are using. Aquaforest Reef Salt mixes clean and quickly so you can use it almost immediately. The parameters are modeled after a real ocean reef, so you’ll get all the micro and macronutrients required for vigorous coral growth and proper pigmentation.

The AF Starter Kit includes 17.6 lbs of Aquaforest Reef Salt which allows you to mix up to 66 gallons of saltwater for your aquarium. You can also purchase additional Aquaforest Reef Salt if you have a larger system.
Reef Salt: A fully synthetic marine salt created for cultured corals. The formula is designed to create the best conditions for marine life. Every batch is ICP tested.
Life Bio Fil: A natural biological filter media. Bacterial strains initiate the nitrification process almost immediately. Life Bio Fil should be placed in a sump or filter area with good water flow.
Bio S: Contains specially selected bacterial strains that create a perfect environment for the cultivation of Nitrospirae and Nitrobacteraceae bacteria which are responsible for the nitrogen cycle.
TestPro Nitrate: Nitrate levels in reef aquariums should be 2-5 mg/l (ppm). This test kit contains enough reagents to perform 40 tests of your tank’s nitrate concentration.
TestPro Alkalinity: This test kit contains enough reagents to perform 78-100 separate alkalinity tests within the 6.5-8.5 dKH range.
Fish V: A multivitamin designed for all ornamental fish, both saltwater and freshwater. Fish V contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D3, E, K3 and biotin, alanine, choline, cysteine, glutamine, leucine, lysine, serine and tyrosine.
Component A: Part 1 of 3. Designed for supplementing minor microelement deficiencies.
Component B: Part 2 of 3. Designed for supplementing minor microelement deficiencies.
Component C: Part 3 of 3. Designed for supplementing minor microelement deficiencies.
KH Plus: For raising carbonate hardness in saltwater aquariums.
Carbon: A high-quality activated granular carbon filter media. Unlike phosphoric acid-activated carbon media, Aquaforest Carbon is activated by steam—so it doesn’t contain any phosphate. Carbon removes pollutants, odors, and discolorations resulting in a cleaner tank with better light penetration for photosynthetic animals.
Phosphate Minus: This filter media can be used in a fluidized media reactor or a filter bag in an area with good water flow. It adsorbs phosphate and silicates from seawater before the can fuel nuisance algae growth.
